Justice General Assembly draws 3,590 participants
UUA Secretary Tom Loughrey, trustee from the Pacific Southwest District, reported in Friday morning’s plenary that 3,590 people have registered for the 2012 Justice General Assembly in Phoenix.
The 1,644 delegates at GA this year include 1,314 congregational delegates, 310 ministerial delegates, 14 delegates with minister emeritus/a status, three delegates with Masters-level director of religious education status, two delegates from Associate Member organizations (the UU Service Committee and the UU Women’s Federation), and 24 members of the Board of Trustees.
Congregations from all 50 states and the District of Columbia are present. Loughrey said that 300 youth are registered.
