Sheriff closes jails to public ahead of GA witness
Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio announced on Thursday, June 21, that the county jails would be closed to public visitors on Saturday because of a public witness event the Unitarian Universalist Association has planned for that evening with Puente Arizona outside the Durango Road “Tent City” jail.
