UK Unitarians champion gay marriage, and more UUs in the media

Unitarians, Quakers, and Liberal Jews in the United Kingdom announced their full support for the government’s same-sex marriage bill for England and Wales, saying they will gladly perform same-sex weddings. (Gay Star News – 1.25.13)

San Diego lawyer and UU Eric Isaacson will receive an award from the St. Paul’s Foundation on Valentine’s Day for his “tireless volunteer work to ‘Legalize Love for Everyone.’” In 2009, Isaacson received the UUA’s prestigious President’s Award for Volunteer Service for his many years providing pro bono legal services to the UUA and its allies in California court cases related to same-sex marriage.
